Transferred to England, 23 March 1917, and admitted to Kitchener's War Hospital, Brighton, 24 March 1917. Discharged on furlough, 18 April 1917, to report to Training Depot, Perham Downs, 3 May 1917. Transferred to 62nd Bn, Windmill Hill, 4 May 1917.

Proceeded overseas to France, 12 September 1917.
