Transferred to 3rd Auxiliary Hospital, Dartford, 14 October 1916; taken on strength of 3rd Auxiliary Hospital, Dartford, 15 October 1916; promoted to rank of Temporary Corporal, 25 March 1919; marched into Australian Army Medical Corps Training Depot, Sutton Veny, 25 July 1919; rank reverted to Private, 25 July 1919.

Commenced return to Australia on HT 'Berrima', 6 September 1919; disembarked Adelaide, 28 October 1919. Discharged Adelaide, 29 December 1919.
