Military Medal 'On 4th, 5th and 6th October, East of YPRES, he acted as stretcher bearer in the Forward area, during the operations. he made many journeys over shell torn and muddy country, carrying wounded from Regimental Aid Posts to Bearer Posts and displayed courage and endurance of a high standard. During one of his trips the whole stretcher party was blown up by a shell, and Private ARNEHIM was severely wounded.'
