Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry in action in the attack on MALT TRENCH, north of WARLENCOURT, on the night 1st/2nd March, 1917. In company with Corporal LEE, he bombed up the trench and connected with the company on his left. Seven prisoners were captured.'
