Marched in to Details Camp, Parkhouse, 8 September 1916.

Found guilty, Perham Downs, 15 September 1916, of disobedience of orders, viz. smoking in bed in Ward No 1: awarded 5 days' confined to barracks.

Found guilty, Parkhouse, 30 October 1916, of insolence toward an NCO: awarded 120 hours' detention.

Proceeded overseas to France,1 January 1917; taken on strength, 2nd Australian Tunnelling Company, in the field, 17 January 1917.

Admitted to 2nd New Zealand Field Ambulance, 2 February 1917 (bronchitis); discharged to Base Depot, 11 February 1917.
