In the end hemade the great sacrifice which the war has entailed upon so many brave men like him.I am cetain that his stedfast nature fellows have to suffer so terribly before death mercifully came to their rescue. Perhaps he was spared that because he was so fully prepared. His loss to me personally is that of a very dear friend.
