Meritorious Service Medal

'For consistently good work and devotion to duty from 25th February to 16th September, 1918. Warrant Officer DRAKE has carried out every duty allotted him with the greatest amount of ability and zest. He has on many occasions performed the duties of Section Officer with marked ability. His every thought is for the welfare and safety of the men and horses and his devotion to duty and conscientious hard work is greatly responsible for the efficiency of his Company. On every occasion of enemy shelling of his camp and on occasions of attack by enemy aircraft his initiative, coolness and general conduct set a fine example to the men under him.'
