Other details from Roll of Honour Circular | He enlisted in August 1914 in Sydney. He sailed for Egypt in October 1914, saw service in Egypt then went through Gallipoli being slightly wounded at Lone Pine. After leaving Gallipoli, he went to England, and then to France. He was seriously wounded at Pozieres. After recovering in England he was placed in the Gun Training Squad as instructor, and went back to France in October 1917. He then remained in France up till the time that he died. He was seriously wounded on 26th April and died on 30th April 1918. |
