Admitted to 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station, 22 June 1915, and transferred to Fleet Sweeper 'Clacton'; to No 1 Stationary Hospital, Mudros, 23 June 1915 (diarrhoea); to No 2 Australian General Hospital, Ghezireh, 5 July 1916; to No 2 Convalescent Hospital, Mena, 5 July 1915 (dysentery); discharged to Base Details, 26 July 1915. Embarked Alexandria to rejoin the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, 11 August 1915; rejoined 11th Bn, Gallipoli, 16 August 1915. Admitted to 1st Field Ambulance, 30 August 1915 (septic hands and debility); transferred to 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station, 3 September 1915; to HS 'Neuralia', 3 September 1915, and admitted to 25th Casualty Clearing Station, Lemnos; transferred to Malta, 10 September 1915, and admitted to Military Hospital, Valetta (gastritis).
