Family/military connectionsOne of his two brothers who went to the front Pte. Robert V Elliot, No. 23591 was killed in action at Pozieres, France on 6th August, 1916. The other brother, Driver Geo Elliot No. 5761 was injured and gassed, 1st Division Am., 3rd Field Artillery Brigade.
