Admitted to North Midlands Casualty Clearing Station, 23 November 1916 (anemia); transferred to 13th Casualty Clearing Station, 30 November 1916; transferred to 2nd Australian General Hospital, Boulogne, 11 December 1916 (trench fever); transferred to England, 4 January 1917. Embarked Havre on HS 'Carisbrooke Castle', 5 January 1917.
