Military Medal 'On 25th September, 1917, YPRES MENIN Road was blocked to limbers by shell fire and this driver volunteered and put his loads onto pack horses and guided them through heavy artillery barrage. He has at all times displayed the greatest coolness and resource under shell fire.'
