Military Medal 'At BULLECOURT on 10th, 11th and 12th April 1917 for conspicuous good work, bravery and devotion to duty as linesman. Working continuously on the lines from Brigade Headquarters to Battalion Battle Headquarters under heavy enemy barrage and Machine gun fire. Owing to his steadfast good work telephonic communication was practically continuous during the whole period.'
