Military Medal 'At POZIERES, FRANCE, 15th. to 19th. August 1916 Private FLACK, who was attached to the A.P.M. for traffic control guided Officers and parties about the position in which most of the trenches had been blown in. He collected numbers of men who had lost their way and returned them to the front line with bombs and water. He acted as runner and as stretcher bearer and brought three wounded men to the Dressing Station successively on his back. He rendered very valuable service in sending forward stragglers.'
