War service: Western Front Embarked Melbourne, 26 November 1917; disembarked Suez, 27 December 1917. Embarked Port Said, 9 January 1918; disembarked Taranto, Italy, 20 January 1918; entrained Taranto, 24 January 1918; detrained Cherbourg, France, 31 January 1918. Proceeded to England; disembarked Southampton, 2 February 1918, and marched in to 15th Training Bn, Codford, and transferred to 57th Bn. Marched out to agricultural course, Sutton Veny, England, 8 April 1919, and reverted to Private.
