Proceeded overseas to France, 10 April 1917; taken on strength, 16th Bn, 30 April 1917. Wounded in action, 25 September 1917 (shell wound, right thigh), and admitted to 2nd Canadian Casualty Clearing Station. Died of wounds (shell wound, chest), 25 September 1917. Buried Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, 1.75 miles SW of Poperinghe, France. Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal |
