Military Medal 'Near BULLECOURT, on 8th May 1917, this man showed conspicuous bravery by remaining with and dressing the wounds of a wounded man in a heavy shrapnel barrage. The bearer was not able to move the patient single handed to a place of safety. He subsequently assisted to carry wounded for many hours through very heavy fire.'
