'For conspicuous good work and leadership near LIHONS on 11th August. Private ALBERT did excellent work patrolling through enemy territory to establish touch with the unit on his left. Although bombed and fired on by the enemy who were in large numbers he succeded in escaping and obtaining the required information and returned with same to his own lines.'
