Military Medal 'During the operations north west of POZIERES, 29th/31st August, 1916, Signaller MONDAY did admirable work as a linesman, under most dangerous shell fire. During one night he was out five times, located faults and repaired them regardless of rick. Knee deep in mud, continually under heavy artillery fire, his work was the means of keeping the Battalion in touch with Brigade.'
