Found guilty, 7 April 1916, of being absent without leave from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, 7 April 1916: awarded forfeiture of 1 day's pay.

Commenced return to Australia on board HT 'Themistocles', from Portland, 8 May 1916; disembarked Perth, 19 June 1916; discharged, 24 July 1916 (medically unfit: debility and shell shock).
