Embarked Melbourne, 20 May 1916; admitted to Ship's Hospital, 9 June 1916 (venereal disease); discharged, 28 June 1916: total period of treatment for venereal disease: 20 days; disembarked Plymouth, England, 18 July 1916.

Marched out of Parkhouse, 2 August 1916, and proceeded to Larkhill; taken on strength of 3rd Divisional Ammunition Column, 2 August 1916; transferred to 3rd Divisional Ammunition Column, 7 August 1916.

Found guilty, 9 October 1916, of while on active service, being absent without leave from midnight, 9 October 1916, until 1000 hours: awarded 7 days' confined to barracks, and forfeits 1 day's pay by Royal Warrant.

Proceeded overseas to France, 24 November 1916.

Admitted to 11th Divisional Rest Station, 17 December 1916 (cyclitis shisha); discharged to duty, 25 December 1916, and rejoined unit the same day.
