'Sergeant BISHTON has acted in the capacity of Battalion Orderly Room Clerk for a period of 6 months, displaying great ability and devotion to duty. He has always shown great willingness in his work which necessitated long hours. In the absence of the Adjutant, he has displayed great tact and forthought in dealing with matters which required immediate action. He has now returned to Australia with heart trouble.'
