Military Medal 'During attack by the 5th and 6th Australian Infantry Brigades on the HINDENBURG LINE on 3rd May, 1917, and following days, Sergeant PRICE was in charge of all power buzzer and amplifier communications in that area. To adequately superintend the four stations that were in operation and get rations, water and accumulators to the forward stations necessitated constant passing to and fro through enemy shell fire in very exposed positions at great personal risk. On the 5th instant, about mid-day, the power buzzer at U.29.B.6.7. was reported "dis". Sergeant PRICE went up immediately through very heavy shelling and rectified the fault, restoring communication when it was very urgently needed. The success of the Power buzzer communications forward has been largely due to the determination and gallant conduct of this N.C.O.'
