Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. On 20th October, 1917, whilst delivering ammunition to batteries in vicinity of ZONNEBEKE (east of YPRES) the party was heavily shelled. Notwithstanding, driver ROBINSON, at great personal risk, succeeded in getting his team through the barrage and delivered the urgently required ammunition safely to its destination.'
