Military Medal 'On 29th September, 1918, during operations South of BONY, Sergeant SIBBLES was allotted the task of maintaining liaison with a flank Battalion, and in order to bring back important information he crossed to his Battalion on many occasions in full view of the enemy and in face of heavy shell and machine gun fire. The information supplied by Sergeant SIBBLES was of the greatest importance to the success of his own Battalion.'
