Wounded in action, 12 October 1917; remained at duty.

Admitted to 8th Australian Field Ambulance, 30 November 1917 (gastritis); discharged to duty, and rejoined Bn, 5 December 1917.

On leave to United Kingdom, 26 July 1918; rejoined Bn from leave, 16 August 1918.

Detached to Australian Corps Intelligence School, 28 October 1918.
