'This Non Commissioned Officer has acted as Battery Clerk since this Unit has formed. His conspicuous good work as such, and his devotion to duty has always been admirable and has set a very fine example to the men who have come under his administration. he has not left the Battery since its being formed. His service as Clerk has helped in a very great degree to the good working of the Battery.'
