Admitted to 15th Australian Field Ambulance, 4 February (frost bite); transferred to No 5 Division Rest Station, 4 February 1917; to 45th Casualty Clearing Station, 16 February 1917; to No 3 Stationary Hospital, Rouen, 18 February 1917; to No 2 Convalescent Depot, 19 February 1917; transferred for treatment in England, 27 February 1917. Embarked Havre on HS 'Panama', 28 February 1917; admitted to No 3 Southern General Hospital, Oxford, 28 February 1917 (frost bite, right foot); discharged to Training Depot, Wareham, 24 April 1917.
