Admitted to HS 'Oxfordshire', 12 December 1915 (trench foot); transferred to 3rd Auxiliary Hospital, Heliopolis, 15 December 1915 (frost bite); to Overseas Base, Ghezireh, 22 December 1915.

Admitted to 2nd Australian General Hospital, 14 January 1916 (influenza); discharged to duty, 28 January 1916.

Found guilty, Ghezireh, 7 March 1916, of being absent without leave from 4.30 pm, 6 March, till7.30 am, 7 March 1916: awarded 7 days' confined to barracks, and forfeited 1 day's pay.

Found guilty, Ghezireh, 8 March 1916, of neglecting to answer defaulters' roll call: awarded 14 days' Field Punishment No 2.

Taken on strength, 60th Bn, Duntroon Plateau, 20 April 1916.

Admitted to 8th Field Ambulance, Ferry Post, 24 April 1916 (not yet diagnosed); discharged to unit, 25 April 1916.
