Proceeded overseas to France from Training Bn, 31 August 1916; marched into 5th Australian Divisional Base Depot, Etaples, 11 September 1916; marched out to field, 28 September 1916; taken on strength of 53rd Bn, 30 September 1916.

Appointed Driver, 24 December 1916.
