Proceeded overseas to France, 19 April 1917; taken on strength, 7th Bn, in the field, 10 May 1917. Wounded in action, 22 September 1917 (gun shot wound, legs and left arm), and admitted to 6th Field Ambulance, and transferred to 3rd Canadian Clearing Station. Died of wounds, 22 September 1917.
